Will The Regular Food Habits Needs To Be Changed During Treatment For Dog Bite ?

Hi Doctor, I am undergoing a treatment for stray dog bit. Have been advised by the doctor to take rabipur injection 5 doses( 0, 3, 7,14,28th day). 2 doses are completed waiting for the 3rd one.
My question is
1. Can i do my regular activities like going to office, driving my car, walking?
2. Doctor has advised to carry with regular food habits. But elders are advising to avoid foods like egg, chicken, fish and few vegetables. Is it necessary?
3. Now after 6th day for the dog bit i feel like my leg are little bit paining and grown bit stiff. On daily basis i am applying Muzi ointment 2-3 times. Plz advise

Hi,

1. Yes, you can do your regular activities like driving, walking.
2. With the latest vaccinations available there are no more food restrictions applicable. It was thought earlier that certain foods can cause allergy to the old type of vaccine.
3. I don't think you need the ointment on a regular basis. You may stop application.

Hope this helps
