Will Taking Belladonna/opium Suppositories And Percocet Cause Problem In Urination?
I have recently had a total hysterectomy. I was seen in the ER tonight for severe lower back pain and issues with urination. The ER doctor prescribe Belladonna/Opium suppositories. I am concerned because she also prescribed Percocet for the pain. Are these okay to take together? I have never heard of the suppositories. She prescribed them to help control bladder pain and spasms. Will taking these drugs together make it even more difficult to urinate.
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. Recently you got hysterectomy, Now you have problem of low back pain, and issues with urination. It appears that you have either the urinary tract infection, or a stone in the ureter near the bladder. I advise you to consult a gynecologist for diagnosis and treatment. You may need to have an M.R.I. for diagnosis and treatment. The drugs prescribed to you may control the pain, but once stopped you will have the pain again, due to presence of the infection. Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and protein rich foods to hasten the recovery. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you
