What Causes Constipation After Having Percocet?
I am 41 years old and had a vaginal hysterectomy 2 days ago. I believe the percocet has made me constipated and making me cramp more than i should be. I have tried laxitives and drinking lots of water and up and moving as much as my pain will alow. My husband thinks maybe a can of beer might help. Could it.

Constipation is side effect of all opioid drugs, so with Percocet too. It decreases bowel movements.
