Will Persistent Urinary Infection Hinder Conception?
Hi Doctor,
My wife is having urine infection and has reported with 10 to 15 pus cells for the last 2 weeks.Her age is 31,weight is 49 kg.She drinks plenty of water but still the infection persists.She had her last period on April 19th and we had our intercourse from May 3rd to 5th.Will this infection be an obstacle for pregnancy

Persistent Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) doesn't affect your conception but it causes deleterious effects on growing baby. So, before trying to conceive your UTI should be treated.
Some of the infections might transmit to your partner also.
Please go for urine culture and sensitivity and use antibiotics according to the report. Also, consult a gynecologist for more information.
