my hgb level is 7.5 after getting bloodwork done this tuesday.unfortunately i was on my period at the time and i have heavy periods.i was scheduled for breast augmentation but the surgeon has pushed the surgery date forward by 3 weeks to allow time for the iron supplements i have been taking to kick in. will my hgb level rise by at least 3 points to be able to have my surgery by the middle of december?i have been on ferrous sulfate for a week already and also taking black strap molasses(so by the rescheduled date it will have been a month).
