Will Delivery Be Early If Pregnant Woman Has BP?

my daughter is 39 wks pregnant. her blood pressure was 208 over 115. Her Dr, put her back blood pressure meds, they are observing her as we speak. Will they take the baby early, she had had c section with 1st preg. due to hypertention. Thank you her Mom

Dear madam,I understand your concern.In my opinion High BP in pregnancy poses the risk for eclampsia ie.,fits during pregnancy which is harmful for mother and baby.So when there is High BP expected date of delivery (EDD) is not allowed to pass.If BP is not able to control with medicines termination of pregnancy might be the option left.As she
had section in her first pregnancy if labour pains wont start simultaneously by EDD section might be the option to safeguard the mother and baby.
