Will Xarelto Cause Bleeding Gums,headache And High Blood Pressure?

I was started on Xeralto about three months ago due to atrial fib, however I had been having bleeding from my gums, feeling lightheaded with almost constant headache, uncontrolled high blood pressure inspite of blood pressure medication. Shall I discontinue taking Xeralto? What other means of treatment should I do?

As per your complain Xarelto cotains Rivaroxaban and it is a blood thinning agent..
The symptoms that you are experiencing of bleeding gums, lightheadedness,headache and high blood pressure are all due to side effects of the medication..
I would suggest you to consult your treating physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like bleeding time, clotting time, Prothrombin time etc can be done..
He can either reduce the dose of the medicine of can change the drug..
As excess of the medication can lead to internal hemorrhages therefore immediate medical assistence is needed..
