Hi, I understand your concern and I'll try to help you. Troponin is a marker of heart muscle called myocardium injury. The elevation of troponin in the blood suggests that there was some injury to the myocardium of your heart.

There are several causes for these injuries from inflammation due to viral infection, known as myocarditis until myocardial infarction. The picture that you reported, the association supposed abdominal viral infection, electrocardiogram unchanged suggests myocarditis. However, it is necessary to rule out that this situation has not been a heart attack. If myocarditis, we must investigate if there was damage and loss of function of your heart.

You must look for a good cardiologist to organize this investigation. The most important tests for this are heart resonance and even a coronary catheterization.

Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help you. Wish you good health.
