Went to the beach two days ago got sunburned. Had 50 spf on and went to bed after putting aloe vera on. The next morning my forehead is swollen as well as around my eyes. Skin is red and puffy. Took an ibuprofen seemed to make the pain subside but the swelling won t go down. any other suggestions to help with pain and swelling?

Hi
Apply topical steroid like mometasone cream on the affected areas twice daily and take antihistaminic like tablet Cetrizine 10 mg once daily at bedtime.
Also if swelling is severe take a short course of oral steroids like tablet prednisolone 20 mg once daily for 5 days.
Regards
