Why Is The Urine Brown In Color?

Some times my urine is brown, orange and yellow. I had a hepatic panel and metabolic panel done, all normal. I had a normal ultrasound of my abdomen. I was told I had bilirubin in my urine by a urologist who wants to perform a cystogram. Does this mean I have liver disease. I really don t have any other symptoms other than an increase in acne and I did have a bartholins cyst removed.

Hello,

For your mentioned problem I suggest you investigate with urine routine microscopic examination for primary work up.

Kindly attach your all done reports to comment further.

If bilirubin present in urine than USG abdomen, sgpt estimation and CBC with peripheral smear examination report should be done for primary work up.
Kindly attach that reports if done.

Hope I have answered your question.
Regards
