Why Is My Body-hair Follicle Leaking Clear Liquid?

I have a body-hair follicle that won t stop leaking clear liquid. It s on my stomach between my belly button and the bottom of my breasts. It filled-up a band-aid and was leaking out. The leaking spot is the size of a pin prick. Why is it doing this and how do I get it to stop?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to folliculitis which is an infection of the follicle. I suggest using hydrogen peroxide to clean the area. I also suggest to maintain a good hygiene, clean the area frequently with warm water and soap. I recommend to use Neosporin cream for local application to treat the infection.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
