Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I suffer from anxiety disorder which I'm now taking Zoloft for. When I mentioned that I've been having acid indegestion every night my doc asked me if I've had blood in my stood and she laid me back and felt around on my stomach. She said she wanted me to have fasting bloodwork done. I asked my mom why she might ask about the bloody stool and stuff and my mom suggested that she might have thought that it could have been because she thought the indegestion might be gallblatter related. The doc didn't say anything about it. Would the blood test show that?
