Why Have I Been Told To Undergo Lung Xray In Another View If I Don't Smoke, Not Exposed To Radiation And Don't Cough?
hi. i had my xray. the impression was i have to undergo spot film and another view (i cant remember the exact procedure) in my right lung. what could be the cause? why do i have to undergo such. im not a smoker. im not exposed to too much radiation. i dont hve cough. thankyou
Hi Thanks for the query. Many a times from usual (PA View) it is not possible to tell exactly the location of a lesion or it may cause confusion among doctors. That's why physician may need another view especially especially the lateral or lateral decubitus view to look for the exact location and probable nature of the abnormality. Probably this is the reason for which you have been asked for to go for another view. Thank You Dr Arnab Maji
