Why Experiencing Chest Pain, Tightness And Shortness Of Breath?

I m a 21years old guy.For some time I have been experiencing quick sharp pain in my left chest.And quite recently I am experiencing a tightness in the chest and shortness of breath.I will visit a doctor soon,but I wanna know what it is before going to the doctor. Please help. Thank you

Hi there! Welcome to HCM.

You have not mentioned the duration of the chest pain and tightness. And also there is no mention of your occupation. Some causes of chest pain, for a person your age, are myocarditis, carbon monoxide toxicity, Myocardial Infarction etc. I would suggest that you go the Emergency department as early as possible, where in they can check your ECG, Echo , BP and also your cardiac markers ; and then asses the condition.
