General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Fetal pole usually is seen by 5 to 5 and half weeks pregnancy. Some times it may take longer, depending on time of conception. But decrease in in bets hCG is a point of concern. This seems to be a blighted ovum where it's just a chemical pregnancy and fetus is not form.

The condition is just a chance and need not recur. Please don't worry. Abortion is advised in such cases. I would suggest to have a second advise to satisfy yourself and go for abortion if diagnosis is confirmed.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
