General & Family Physician 's  Response

Hello, my name is Dr Olgeta Xhufka. I understand your concern. The couses of elevated bilirubin levels are different. Problem may be
prehrpatic hemolytic anemia,
hepatic like viral hepatitis. , alcohol, medical, autoimune
extrahepatic gallstones, inflammation or cancer of gallbladder or pancreatitis or pancreatic cancer.
Gilbert syndrome
The fact that levels are rising shows that disease is progressing.
You have to do other examination to determine the couse, such as blood count, ultrasound, ct scan etj.
Hope my answer was helpful, if you have any other questions I'll be glad to help you. Best regards.
