Why is it whenever I get the slightest bit of constipation my left testicle hurts? About a year ago my left testicle had been swollen and I was in extreme pain, went to the ER and basically the cause was lack of blood flow. Ever since then whenever I get constipated my left testicle hurts. It almost feels like blue balls or like the ball is bruised. What is the cause of this and is there some way of treating it?
I welcome you to healthcare magic for your health concerns I am Dr Fahim and I will be looking into your problem I have gone through your question and understood you concern. Testicular pain that is associated with constipation, I think is because of inguinal hernia. It comes through spermatic cord as you strain in constipation the intra-abdominal pressure rises, pushing the content in the hernial sac. For the time being you need to take over-the-counter pain killers like tab paracetamol 500mg thrice daily. However, a general surgeon review is required to have a look at your abdomen and testis and make a diagnosis on clinical examination or may request an ultrasonography scrotum and abdomen.
