Why Do I Still Have Pain In My Jaw Muscles?

I had a right jaw clicking problem with which I had gone to my dentist. He gave me a muscle relaxant and Iafter taking the med the jaw clicking lessened considerably. But I still had a lot of pain in my jaw bones and a very heavy throbbing in my temple and sometimes in my lower jaw specially while eating, yawning, talking or opening my mouth wide. The doc gave me a painkiller for 3 days and got my jaw x-rayed. But there was nothing in my x-ray. Now I font have any severe pain my jaws, but if I press my jaw bones with my hands there is still pain but the throbbing in my temples and jaws continues. The throbbing as I feel is somewhere in my veins. Sometimes its very strong but sometimes not so strong and I can sometimes feel a certain numbness in my right side and my ear gets red. I still hav pain in my jaw bones speciallly right side of my chin jaw bone. I just wanna know whats wrong with me?
