Why Do I Have Occasional Sharp Pain In My Chest?

Hi Dr I,m 53 yr old woman. I Hv occasional sharp pain in my left side chest. It last for a minute and comes like once a month. I did ECG early this year and my Dr said not to worry every thing is ok. But am concerned. Hope you can give me some information. Thanks hhkk. NJ

I need further information regarding your complaints 1.)is pain radiating to some where else 2.)what are all the factors aggravating your pain 3.)any complaints of breathing difficulty,palpitations,fatigue,nausea,belching/regurgitations.4.)under any medications 5.)any family history of heart attack. and it is advisable to do ECG immediately after your pain .considering your age 53 my advice is to consult cardiologist for furhter evaluvation.
