Hi,

First of all, you should have a prophylaxis treatment for migraine after aborting the continuous attack. To abort the attack you can take sumatriptan, unless you have not hypertension or previous cardiac disease. Then the prophylaxis treatment for migraine is carbamazepine, amitryptyline and propranlol. You can one of them 30-60 minutes before the attack. But, you should do some investigations such as CT scan brain, CBC and ECG to ensure that you do not have underlying diseases.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dr/Mustafa, Neurologist
