Hi,thanks for query. It seems that there are some hormonal changes taking place in your body.As you last cycle was scanty and this one is delayed. You have not mention your age,at times if you are 40 years and above this could be pre-menopausal symptoms. In other case you need to talk to your doctor.bye.

Hi welcome to Healthcare magic

Repeat the UPT (Urine pregnancy test) again.. if still it comes negative, then you need to be clinically evaluated.. since you have last menstrual cycle also lasted for few days ,investigations like USG,Harmonal assay is needed to find the cause for the Oligomenorrhea...

My 14-year old granddaughter has irregular periods that can be very heavy. She is often cold and tired and her diet (she is in boarding school) leaves much to be desired. She skips breakfast, may eat only a bagel for lunch...Often wn t eat the mystery meat at school in spite of our urgings. (I m a dietitian.)Her recent Hgb is 13.2, Hct 38.7, ferritin 21. So, there is no evidence of anemia. She is taking 400mg of iron daily which sounds astronomical to me. Have you any advice for us? Thank you

Good Afternoon. I am a 36 year old female and my menstural cycle is irregular. I have never had an irregular menstural cycle. I am experiencing all the normal systems, bloating, mild cramping, sensitivity in my breast. I am spotting but only a little. I have not taken a home pregnancy test because I am spotting a little. I am physically activity, and have been for the past few years. There hasn t been any changes in my diet or weight. What is causing my period to be irregular?
