Why Are Progesterone And Folinine Tablets Prescribed During Pregnancy?
Hi..Recently my friends wife got some bad news that her baby which was in 4 th months will have to be removed as there was a tumour and it was growing with fetus and the baby is noy growing as it should be... the got abortion and now i think they could have saved that baby.. she was taking some medication and i was bit concern abt two medicine which are Folinine and Progesterone... please let me know, what these medicine are for really...

Progesterone causes the endometrial or uterine lining to thicken and thus helps prevent miscarriage during pregnancy. The vitamin B12 component of Folinine helps in treating anaemia and weakness during pregnancy.
