Why Am I Urinating More Frequently?
I had a Mirena IUD inserted on Monday. Since then I have had to urinate more frequently than is normal for me. Is this something I need to have checked out? Is it just from some irritation to the bladder during insertion? Will it settle down to normal?

Yes definitely the chances of the increased frequency of urination is the none other than the irritation caused while insertion of Mirena ( IUD), nothing to worry about it it will settle down at its own.
The only thing to be kept in mind is in case of symptoms such as blood in urine , burning micturation or fever you have to report your doctor earliest.
This is commonly observed that there is increased frequency of micturation after IUD insertion.
