Hello,

I can understand your concern. Cysts are fluid filled cavities that are painless unless infected.

If you feel that you have developed cyst in the mouth, then you should go for clinical examination of the swellings at the dentist's. You might need to go for x-ray of the area that you suspect of having cysts. If multiple cysts are present, you may have to go for biopsy for confirmed diagnosis.

If the x-ray and clinical examination confirms presence of cysts then you should go for surgical procedure for removal of the cysts as cysts grow slowly but the grow on the expense of jaw bone that makes the bone weak and prone to fracture.

I hope this information helps you. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. I wish you feel better soon.

Best,
Dr. Viraj Shah
