White Bumps On Penis, No Pain. No Sexual Partner After Divorce. Thoughts?
I am 46, recently divorced and took up masturbating to battle the pain of loneliness. Never have I seen this before but a couple of months ago I noticed 4-5 white bumps on the back side of the shaft of my penis. No pain, squeezing did not produce anything. Just there. Now I am worried that could really turn someone off if they see much less feel it. I have heard of Fordyce bumps but only concentrated in one little area. I have not had another sexual partner either. Thoughts
Hello, From the way you have expressed your symptoms and its location, it looks like sebaceous glands (tiny glands found near the surface of your skin) without hair follicles. As you have assumed they should be Fordyce spots. It need not present in one little area. They are commonly seen on the glans penis, the shaft of the penis and scrotum. These are commonly present in adults and they are not infectious or sexually transmitted disease. Fordyce spots are generally harmless and don’t need treatment. Best wishes
