Which Medical Specialist Will Treat Pain And Cramping In The Legs?

I ve been having painful legs for about 10 plus years, it s been getting worse lately. Very similiar to restless leg syndrome. Lately it be been experiencing leg cramping. Probably low on potassium. I had gastric bypass 7 years ago so I have problems absorbing medication. I m not quite sure what type of Doctor to see.

Consult a general surgeon and get evaluated. Conditions like peripheral vascular disease and peripheral neuropathy has to be evaluated. Additional investigations like peripheral arterial Doppler and nerve conduction study are required.
