Which Is The Best Treatment For Costocondritis?

my daughter 16 has costocondritis and was rushed to doctors with sharp right sided stabbing pains in her lower ribs. the doctor said its due to fast growth. floating rib is aggravated.ecg,bloods,chest x ray all clear but pain killers are doing nothing im worried its something more? one doctor said it was in her head. whats the best treatment

Thanks for query.costochodritis the main theme of treatment is to reduce the inflammation .for this NSAIDs would do well.in addition to that Local heat
Local infiltration of local anesthetic, steroid, or intercostal nerve block (reserved for refractory cases),Gentle stretching of the pectoralis muscles 2-3 times a day may be beneficial.discuss with your doc.regards
