Which Doctor Should I See For The Head Swelling And The Pain Radiating To The Left Eye That Occurred After A Bad Fall And MRI Normal?

I had a bad fall, running tripped on chair leg and fell face first left side. 1 ,immed. swelling cut on left on left brow, severe bruising almost instantly. Seen in emg. room. They felt around eye said no broken bones they treaqted cut and sent me home. within the week I was back in emg. due to sleeping most of the time and dizzy, feeling sick. They then did a CT scan, stated a closed head injury. After several visits to the doctor and having my eye checked out, I kept telling the doctor I had swelling on the left side of my head and that my head & ear hurt. I could not lay on the back of my head or the left side of my head and that there were ridges in my head where there weren t before and that my head hurt terrible in those places. The doctor never felt my head where I told him it was so bad . I was then referred to neurologist who ordered MRI. They say I have age arthritist problems in my neck and nothing else showed up. The accident happened 14 months ago. The left side of my head is still swollen - around the ear and up the side of my head and into my temple (had to move the left temple of my glasses out 3/4 to 1 out in order to wear them. This is not a headache, It is Pain in the skull and the bones round the eye My PAIN level has not been below a 4 to 5 and is usually a 7 to 9 even with pain meds. WHAT kind of doctor do I need to see other than one who listens

Hi. I have read your question and it is very unethical of the doctors who have been treating you. You have an obvious visible defect on your head which is causing symptoms so it should have been looked at. You need to see a neuro-surgeon as the problem is in the bones of your head. If you are in Islamabad I could refer you to one but if you are at some other place try finding a good neurosurgeon, one who listens to his patients

I hope you find a remedy to your ailment
