Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Usually, you'll get the next period within a week after stopping Regestrone.
If you are not having any periods even after one week, then you need a thorough evaluation by your gynecologist as there are various causes for this delay in periods and they can be ruled out only after a physical examination and detailed investigations.
Besides pregnancy, the delayed period may be due to hormonal imbalance,
polycystic ovarian disease, thyroid disturbance, anemia, high prolactin level, stress, emotional upset,
pelvic infection, irregular diet habit,
overweight etcetera. Once the cause is confirmed, you will be treated accordingly.
Meanwhile take healthy low
carbohydrate diet, control or reduce body weight effectively by regular physical exercise, avoid mental stress by regular
meditation and maintain genital hygiene properly. It would be helpful to regularize your period.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali
