Besides pregnancy, the delayed period may be due to hormonal imbalance, polycystic ovarian disease, thyroid disturbance, anemia, high prolactin level, stress, emotional upset, pelvic infection, irregular diet habit, overweight etcetera. Once the cause is confirmed, you will be treated accordingly. Meanwhile take healthy low carbohydrate diet, control or reduce body weight effectively by regular physical exercise, avoid mental stress by regular meditation and maintain genital hygiene properly.
