Whats The Cause For Constant Vaginal Discharge Post Hysterectomy?

Hi Im 51 years old and had a hysterectomy at the age of 36 and today while at work i was experiencing a lot of vaginal discharge to the point i thought i might be going potty, but wasn t! I do hold going to the bathroom a lot in my profession but I am very concerned what should i do, or what is the problem???

Hello,

Increase in vaginal discharge without ant other associated symptoms could be due to bacterial vaginosis, which occurs due to change in normal vaginal flora. Vaginal swab and microscopy can confirm the diagnosis. Once the diagnosis is confirmed management is with antibiotic Metronidazole.
