My mother has slightly swollen legs (shins) and ankles. The skin is mildly red, but very shiny (as if lotion had just been applied) yet the skin is dry. Both legs look similar in general appearance. There is some discomfort, especially when walking, and she has had tingling in her lower legs twice in the last month during the night. She sits most of the time during the day.
