thank you doctor Pragnesh Vachharajani, my son was infected twice, after the first medication of metronidazole, we assume that after a week of medication amoeba in his body will be cleared so we did not submit his stool for another examination because symptoms ,like fever, vomiting and watery stool was gone already, after several months his stool became watery again and suffered high fever, still vomiting after every meal, we took his stool for the second time for another examination and here we go again with amoeba, we went to his pediatrician and ask why did it happen again, our doctor said maybe he was exposed again to contaminated water or food and then my child undergo medication again same medicine again and the doctor gave him metronidazole for the second time, for the third time last week my son got sick and sometimes vomiting after he had taken his meal, my son complaint about his stomach, till now his stool still is watery sometimes it is soft, we are scared that amoeba will make my son again suffer, i strictly keep an eye on my son because sometimes he likes to lick his fingers, and play outside our house... i hope that my son got well again and hope amoeba in his body will be cleared after this medication. His pediatrician always give him metronidazole for his medicine.
