What Were The Dime Sized Clots Came Out Of Vagina?

Hi I m 24 years old and I have 3 children, I m currently on birth control which is the iud.... I went to the restroom today and while i was using the restroom 2 dime size clots that look like a light colored mocos that fell in the toilet . What was it or should I go get checked ???

Hi,

The mucus clots you describe could be the seven that was deposited in vagina while sex OR it can be excess cervical discharge due to infection In vagina. If there is no itching or burning in urine along with it, you need not worry. But if such symptoms accompany, a vaginal swab test to note type of infection and cause specific treatment is needed. Consult a gynecologist please.
