Poly cystic ovarian disease presents with irregular periods, anovulation, etc. due to reproductive hormonal imbalance, high androgen levels, and insulin resistance. High androgen levels can lead to weight gain also. Deviry tablet containing medroxyprogesterone acts on endometrium and leads to the withdrawal bleeding when the tablets are stopped. But the time of onset of withdrawal bleeding may vary from person to person and cycle to cycle, after stopping the tablets it may take one week to ten days sometimes. Better to wait for a few more days.
General measures that can help in dealing with PCOD are: -Healthy, balanced diet in the regular schedule, avoiding junk foods. -Regular calories burning exercises -Maintaining normal Body mass index between 18.5 to 24.9.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
