Hii i m 45 year old lady i want to know complete knowledge about my x -ray actually THERE IS CYSTIC ..**..DILATATION OF BROCHI IN ANTERIOR BASAL SEGMENT OF RIGHT LOWER LOBE CYSTIC BRONCHIECTASIS. ...**..MULTIPLE AREA OF FIBROTIC SCARRING WITH FIBRONODULAR DENSITIES SEEN BILATERALLY. .**...PATCHY AND DIFFUSE GROUND GLASS OPACIFICATION NOTED IN BOTH LUNGS WITH INTERSPREAD LUCENCIES MOSAIC PERFUSION. *Thetrachea and both main bronchi are normal. *NO evidence of mediastinal lymphadenopathy.. *NO free fluid is seen in the pleural cavity. * the visualised vertebrae &sternum are normal * NO pleural thickening seen in the section evaluated. *****It s a kindly request to u please give me the best advice *****
You are having bronchiectasis and fibrotic scarring in lung. You have to investigate further with sputum culture, HRCT scan for further work up. For cough drainage physiotherapy beneficial. You can be prescribed inhaled antibiotic like Tobramycin. You strictly have to avoid smoking. Bronchodilator group of drugs and steroid is beneficial in your case. Your arterial oxygen saturation also has to be monitored. You should consult only pulmonologist for your management and examination.
