What To Do If Having Prolonged Cold, Cough And High Eosinophil Count?
Sir. I have regular cold and cough for the last 4 months. Mostly I am suffering cough at nights. I had a blood test recently and find that my eosinophils count is 9%. Previously I had a skin allergy and doctor prescribed citrizane hydrochloride. Kindly advise how to fight eosinophils count. Tnx.mohd
High eosinophil count indicates that you are having an allergy or a parasitic infection like worms etc. We have to find out the cause for the high count and once this is known, you can be treated. I would like you to meet an allergy specialist , who will order a few tests for you including stool examination and chest xray. Please meet your doctor. Thanks
