What To Do If Having Prolonged Cold, Cough And High Eosinophil Count?

Sir. I have regular cold and cough for the last 4 months. Mostly I am suffering cough at nights. I had a blood test recently and find that my eosinophils count is 9%.
Previously I had a skin allergy and doctor prescribed citrizane hydrochloride.
Kindly advise how to fight eosinophils count. Tnx.mohd

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello

High eosinophil count indicates that you are having an allergy or a parasitic infection like worms etc. We have to find out the cause for the high count and once this is known, you can be treated. I would like you to meet an allergy specialist , who will order a few tests for you including stool examination and chest xray. Please meet your doctor.
Thanks
