What To Do For Lymph Node On Right Side Of Neck Causing Tightness In Muscles?

hi, i noticed my lymph node on the right side of my neck (you can feel it but no pain). The back of my neck and muscles feel tight. I saw a NP and she put me on an antibiotic for 10 days. She said my ear was red and could be due to that but I noticed it about a month and a half ago. It doesn't hurt and no change in size.

Few low grade infections often accompany lymphadenopathy.
Age,sex, fever or previous infections often determine the course of lymphadenopathy.
Given that youve used antibiotics for 10 days and seen no change, get a Ultrasound done of the swelling.A lymph node biopsy will for sure diagnose the problem.
Visit a general surgeon.
Good Luck !
