What Should Be Time Gap If One Have To Take Vvyance, Lorazeapam Tablets?
Hi Dr, I am prescribed to 40 mg vvyance which i take early in the morning on a daily basis for school. I have noticed that the vvyance gives me a lot of social anxiety to the point where it effects my work and how i socialize with others. I can t even have a normal conversation with my mom when im on vvyance but it helps me focus in school and with out it i would probably fail. I also am prescribe to lorazeapam which i ONLY take at night because the vvyance causes me not to sleep. after i take the lorazapam i can sleep fine. I did some research online and saw some people take a small dose of lorazepam a little after they take vvyance during the day to help with the anxiety vvyance causes. would you say this could help? would it make the vvyance not as strong? would i get sleepy during the day? if i do decide to take the lorazeapam how long should i wait until after i take the vvyance? Thanks in advance!
I feel that rather than having to increase your dose of lorazepam for Vyvanse related issues, it would make more sense to see if a slightly lower dose of Vyvanse works better for you or not. Lowering the dose slightly may not only reduce the social anxiety that you are feeling, thus improving your performance but also may reduce your requirement for lorazepam at bedtime at sleep.
I do not advocate taking lorazepam in the morning, after you take Vyvanse because it will counter the benefits of Vyvanse in improving your concentration at work. It may also make you sleepy in the daytime.
Hope this helps you. Best wishes.
