What Should Be Done When Having Rapid Heartbeat Besides Going To The Doctor?

hi, i think i need some help regarding my pulse. i am 18 / male / 115 k.g. / 180 c.m. so it all began when i had some marijuana brownies and my heart beat went way up, so i went to the hospital and had it fixed. as i am known to be a little crazy ;) i smoked marijuana 3 times after that day witch led me to hospital again. know that i am done with that, my heart beat increases (abnormally) when i am exited or i am smoking cigarettes or drinking coffee. what should i avoid ? and more importantly should i avoid drinking vodka ? what should i do if my heart starts beating too fast and hard besides going to the doctor?

Hi welcome to HCM.
You seem to have Paroxysmal ventricular contractions/pvc's due to excessive ingestion of coffee and marijuana.This can lead to cardiovascular upset if not treated promptly.Drugs like beta blockers are the main stay of therapy.I strongly recommend you to give up smoking and marijuana as it can lead to heart ailments.Have a baseline EKG.Absteinance from the addictions will lead to normalization of heart rate.Consult your cardiologist for further care.
