I am a 58 yr old female with gastritis and GERD having been on anti inflammatory meds and pain killers for facet joint disease. I also suffer from IBS. I am out of town, away from my doctors and have been in the bed mostly over a week now with a gastritis flare up. I thought it was getting better yesterday, but awoke this morning with sharp pain from breast bone through to my back. I took a Nexium and some Gaviscon because I needed to take my pain med. I threw up c couple of times and diagram once. The rest of the time I am nauseous, have the burning pain. If I try to eat anything the pain flares up worse. Should I go ahead to the hospital where I am or what should I take besides Nexium and Gaviscon?
