What Relieves The Pain Just Below The Breast Which Is Causing Difficulty In Breathing?

Thank you. Monday I pulled up the cornor of my stove and felt a pop in my left side just below my breast. I have been in pain. Hard to take a deep breath and when I try to get up, or even brush my teeth it hurts and takes my breath away. I keep thinking I will get better. But today is Friday and it still feels the same way. Help! Thank you Patti I am 62 years old.

I am so sorry to hear about this pain and the difficulty in breathing. You need to get this pain well controlled lest you would not be able to take in deep breaths or utilize these muscles. a combination of ibuprofen and tylenol over 3-5days would be able to get these symptoms well controlled and permit you go on with your regular activities.
