Hi,

Asthana is a breathing problem with acute exacerbations due to allergy/infection. So along with inhalers/nebulization, these triggers must be controlled very well with needful courses of antibiotics, inhalers (like asthalin to have an instant effect to relieve dyspnea), budacort via nebulizer or inhaler ... to be taken at fixed hours to prevent dyspnea attack & anti allergic like montelukast to combat allergy symptoms. Please be in touch with a chest physician for more specific & personalized advice.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
