What medical condition causes sodium deficiency despite taking sodium chloride supplements?

I have a condition that causes my sodium to be low even after taking sodium chloride tabs for 2 months. I doctor said I had a condition that kept my body from retaining sodium. I don t remember what she called it. Could you please tell me what it is? YYYY@YYYY
