What Is Your Suggestion After Experiencing Anaphylaxis Manifested As Bronchospasm And/or Laryngospasm After Inhaling And X-ray Showed Cloudiness In Right Lung?
(I have had a severe chronic cough for over a month. Jan 6 I had a chest x-ray which showed a slight cluudynes in the right long. At the VA today the lungs ounded clear/good. I was given an inhaler Atrovent HFA which I took two puffs at 16:30, almost 3 hours ago. I am now experiencing what I would call Anaphylaxis manifested as bronchospasm and/or laryngospasm. I experience respiritory arrest from aspirin, NSAIDs, and Clindomycin. The feeling I am gettung now is similar. I have taken one benedryl. What would you suggest?
I am so sorry to hear about what you have been experiencing. These symptoms are suggestive of a hyperactive airways. It would be best to identify all the triggers and keep away from them. Also, having some rescue inhalers and anti allergy medications would be of prime importance. I hope your doctor would offer more information with the results of your testing.
I hope this addresses your query fully. Thank you so much for using our services and do feel free to ask for more clarification or information if need be. I wish you well. Dr. Ditah, MD.
