Hello,

Dubagest can be taken as a contraceptive pill, meaning to prevent pregnancy. It has to be used regularly and it may take up to a week to give protection.
First of all, because your wife has delayed periods, she needs to have a pregnancy test first. If the test is negative she may continue to use Dubagest.
In this case, if your wife has been using Dubagest for only 4 days, she may not be protected as yet and you may need to use condoms as well for the next few days.

I hope this answers your query.
I remain at your disposal for further medical assistance.
