What Is The Treatment For Vulvar Cellulitis?

I was just diagnosed with vulvar cellulitis as a result of a recent groin surgery. In order to find more comfort in my diagnoses, i would like to know if all forms of cellulitis discharge or ooze. I do not have any oozing from any open wounds but I did discharge from the vagina. ANy help?

Hello and welcome,

I understand the issue. However I am not sure about where exactly the groin wound is. If the wound is reaching inside the vagina then you may have a vaginal discharge.

Cellulitis is mostly red and inflamed area that may or may not ooze. It is tender and warm to touch.

The management is mostly antibiotics and also it may need a dressing or debridement depending upon its state.

So discuss this with your doctor and then go ahead with the treatment.
