I have lower leg swelling above my ankle. There is a knot there as well. I've had an MRI, nothing there, xray nothing, ultrasound nothing. It's very painful and the knot has gotten bigger. I don't know what to do/think. I feel confused because it is VERY obviously there. The dr even sees it but when he got the MRI results he said 'I guess you'll have to live with it because there is nothing there and nothing should be causing pain'. I feel as if he deserted me, completely. I did ask him about Lupus and he did draw blood. I get those results tomorrow. I just don't know what to think. Why wouldn't it show in an MRI? It is most definitely there.
