What Is The Treatment For Swelling In Thigh Caused By Pus-filled Blackhead?
I have had a big lump on the back of my thigh for several years. I thot it was probably veins or something until i rubbed on it a few days and noticed a foul smell. It does not hurt at all. I squeezed on it and noticed a string of pus coming out with that foul smell. It doenʻt hurt at all but as I continue to squeeze it more stringy puss came out and itʻs still swollen, res on the side with a black dot at where the pus is coming out from. Not sure if itʻs a blackhead that continues to build up over time. Itʻs been there for over 5 years now
The painless bump that you had for years is actually Sebaceous Cyst. It is filled with a yellowish putty material, which the glands in its lining wall have secreted for years. It might recur unless the cyst wall is completely removed by the surgeon.
I would advice that you visit a surgeon and get it removed in toto (along the cyst wall)
take care regards
