Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hi
You must show to an orthopaedic doctor, the hematoma formed due to injury may have got infected with fluid or serum collection giving rise to more swelling now, may need draining, anti biotics and supportive treatment.,possibly an x-ray too fir any bony lesion due to injury or infection.sometimes breach of periosteum is there and consequent infection into bone too...if need be ,an bone scan for early infection detection in bone may be needed too or it may be just soft tissue hematoma, which can be known by check up
Best wishes
