I have had persistent nausea, constipation, sour stomach and dizziness for 2 years now. I take 30mg of Compazine per day, I have had bloodwork done and have found I am anemic. I also lose worthy very easily and no matter what cannot gain weight. I've lost 20 pounds but can't gain it back. I have an awful sour stomach and chronic nausea. Tried altering diet without success

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

It is possible that stomach pain may be due to chronic gastritis due to H. pylori infection or irritable bowel syndrome constipation variant or food intolerance or inflammatory bowel problems etc.

Intra-abdominal organs pathology like pancreatitis or hepatitis or cholecystitis or cystitis may cause nausea. Anemia patients more prone to develop nausea.

Use tab. Pantoprazole. Please get it done ultrasound abdomen and upper GI endoscopy.

If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor, he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu,
